DNL OmniMedia - highly performant and accessible website

  • Defined site architecture and structure
  • Implemented site structure and design in WordPress together with the team
  • Executed data migration from the Drupal site into WordPress
  • The site was configured to have high performance through via the following features:
    • Use of CSS & HTML first for display and interactions, such as interactive tabs
    • Use of embedded SVG for most site graphics
    • Use of progressive/lazy image loading: low resolution images are loaded first and replaced with high fidelity ones when the user views the section of the page
    • Minimal the use of JavaScript
  • The site was tested for performance against Pingdom and Lighthouse tools to achieve the best performance score possible
  • Google Analytics was tightly integrated into the site via Google Tag Manger and tracks:
    • Page views
    • Link clicks
    • Form submissions
