- Worked with the information architect to define the plan to update site architecture while migrating the site from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10 (Drupal was completely rewritten from the ground up after Drupal 7, the migration was equivalent of migrating the site between different platforms)
The project involved migration of CMS content, migration and upgrade of Drupal Commerce products, licenses, content purchases, and event registrations, and Salesforce integration - Developed a plan to migrate the data structure, update it to the new specifications, test the site during the development phase, and then right before launch preform another migration from the source site, and then reapply all structural and visual revisions
- Utilized all available open source tools for migration, identified & fixed issues in those tools, as they cropped up, extended the solutions further to migrate more advanced data structures that were present on the site
- Ensured consistent results and faster repeated migration through accurate documentation, and development of shell scripts to automate & speed up the process
- Ensured data syncs and accuracy in Salesforce integration by providing technicals support and guidance to the developers and the client
- Configured and utilized continuous delivery (CD) from Bitbucket code repository to Pantheon hosting environment for development and launch
